  • Founder + Executive Director

    Serina is a sophomore student at Crofton House School in Vancouver, Canada. As a dedicated student leader, she is passionate about empowering youth and driving meaningful change. As the Founder and Executive Director of Bright Sky Challenge, she works to inspire innovative and practical solutions to both global and community issues. With interests in entrepreneurship, advocacy, and education, she believes in the importance of creative thinking, collaboration, and action-driven leadership. In her free time, Serina enjoys reading books from a wide range of genres. Her favourite stories are always science fiction, which spark her imagination and deepen her curiosity about the future.

  • Director of Marketing

    Jasmine is in ninth grade studying at Renert School in Calgary, Alberta. She is passionate about creating opportunities for youth to learn and grow. Through competition, she hopes to make finance education more engaging and accessible. When she’s not working on Bright Sky, she enjoys playing the cello, fencing, and trying new snacks. She also does debate and public speaking, valuing the way words can inform, persuade, and connect people.

  • Director of Outreach

    Belle Han is a grade 10 student in Jericho Senior High School from New York. Determined to help the Bright Sky Challenge flourish and encourage young people to share their ideas and voices, she hopes to be able to aid in helping other students to learn and grow through the makings of this organization. In her spare time she hones her abilities as an artist, singer, and guitarist. Her passion for art drives her constant resolve to improve and learn more.

  • Jinlin Liu is a grade 10 student in Calgary, Alberta. He is a public speaker, a debater, an author, and an active volunteer in his community. As the events director, Jinlin would like to increase youth access to entrepreneurship and allow students to gain more outreach for ideas like finance, business, and entrepreneurship.

  • Director of Human Resources

    Beryl is a grade nine student from Massachusetts who is passionate about learning new things and trying out new experiences. As the Director of Human Resources, she is dedicated to ensuring strong, clear communication between all participants and judges throughout the contest. In her free time, she loves reading, playing video games, and watching TV shows and movies.

    Sonia is a tenth-grade student at Lord Byng Secondary School in Vancouver, Canada. As a natural leader, she is deeply passionate about creating new opportunities for youth and empowering them to unlock their full potential. Through her work with Brightsky, Sonia aims to inspire individuals to explore entrepreneurship, fostering both personal growth and meaningful connections within their communities. Beyond her involvement with Brightsky, Sonia is a multi-talented artist with a love for singing, dancing, and modelling. Her creative pursuits are a reflection of her ambition and drive to succeed.
